They will get a chance to network with experienced speakers to implement the current needs of society. They can present their research work in the form of presentations/posters relevant to their research\, get feedback from seasoned researchers\, and thus convert their weaknesses into strengths. \nThere is a sprout need to avoid the risks of environmental sustainability such as food security\, water pollution and scarcity\, air pollution\, and energy shortfall. Hence this region needs sustainable solutions regarding the conversation of water resources and the environment. Therefore\, it is the need of the day to take the initiative in this area. This conference will share sustainable solutions to resolve the issues. By bringing the researchers and experts from all over Pakistan\, it is expected that they can make recommendations to the government level for developing new technologies for utilizing the natural resources available in Pakistan. \nThe academics who will read the proceedings from overseas will get a chance to learn about the problems faced by Pakistan and similar developing countries\, thus get an opportunity to develop and participate with universities and academics in Pakistan to simulate real work problems and discuss opportunities for technological advancement; this poses for them a unique opportunity to apply knowledge outside their normal environment. \nExpected Outcomes\nThe expected outcomes from the Conference are: \n\nToolkit for Implementation\nLearning and knowledge exchange among Conference participants through interdisciplinary discussions\nConference reports\n\nProposed Invited Speakers\n\nDr. Jan W Hopmans\, Department of Land\, Air and Water Resources\, University of California\, Davis\, CA\, USA\nDr. Jens Tränckner\, Faculty of Environmental Sciences\, Department of Water Resources\, University of Rostock\, Germany.\nDr. Hermann Sietz\, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Marine Technology\, University of Rostock\, Germany.\nDr. Su Di\, Bridge and Structures Laboratory\, Department of Civil Engineering\, University of Tokyo\, Tokyo\, Japan.\nDr. Rasool Bux Mahar\, USPCAS-W Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro\, Sindh\, Pakistan.\nDr. Kamran Ansari\, USPCAS-W Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro\, Sindh\, Pakistan.\n\n\nDr. Khan Shahzada\, Department of Civil Engineering\, University of Engineering and Technology\, Peshawar\, Pakistan.\nDr. Aneel Kumar\, Department of Civil Engineering\, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology\, Jamshoro\, Pakistan.\nDr. Zahid Ahmed Siddique\, Department of Civil Engineering\, University of Lahore\, Lahore\, Pakistan.\nDr. Amjad Naseer\, Department of Civil Engineering\, University of Engineering and Technology\, Peshawar\, Pakistan.\nDr. Syed Hamid Hussain Shah\, University of Athabasca\, Athabasca\, AB\, Canada\nMuhammad Mohsin Waqas\, Department of Agricultural Engineering\, Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology\, Rahim Yar Khan\, Pakistan.\nFayaz Ahmad Khan\, National Institute of Urban Infrastructure Planning\, Peshawar\, Pakistan.\nMuhammad Qasim\, Department of Civil Engineering\, University of Lahore\, Lahore\, Pakistan.\n\n\nAdvisory Committee\n\nProf. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Tanoli\, GIK Institute\nProf. Dr. Khan Zaib Jadoon\, IIU Islamabad\nDr. Rashid Farooq (Chairperson)\, IIU Islamabad\nDr. Muhammad Waseem\, GIK Institute\nDr. Shiraz Ahmed\,  GIK Institute\nDr. Numan Khan\,  GIK Institute\nDr. Muhammad Faisal Javed\, GIK Institute\n\nOrganizing Committee\nPatron in Chief\n\nProf. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid (SI) (Rector\, GIK Institute\, Topi)\n\nPatron \n\nProf. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Tanoli (HoD Department of Civil Engineering\, GIK Institute\, Topi)\n\nPrincipal Organizers\n\nDr. Muhammad Waseem (Department of Civil Engineering\, GIK Institute\, Topi)\nDr. Shiraz Ahmad (Department of Civil Engineering\, GIK Institute\, Topi)\nProf. Dr. Khan Zaib Jadoon\, IIU Islamabad\nDr. Rashid Farooq (Chairperson)\, IIU Islamabad\n\nScope of Conference\nAll accepted papers will be published in either Web of Science/SCOPUS-indexed Proceedings or SCOPUS Index Journals with additional charges. \nContact and Information\n\nProf. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Tanoli (Department of Civil Engineering\, GIK Institute\, Topi)\nEmail: matanoli@giki.edu.pk\n\nDates to Remember\n\n\n\nEvent\nDate\n\n\nDeadline for Full Paper Submission\n26 Jan 2024\n\n\nAcceptance Letter\n31 Jan 2024\n\n\nRegistration\n01 – 05 Feb 2024\n\n\nConference\n12-13 Feb 2024\n\n\n\nSend your abstract and papers to: ccetc@giki.edu.pk \nRegistration Fee \n\nInternational Participant 30 USD\nInternational Student 20 USD\nNational Participant 1000 PKR\nNational Student 1000 PKR\n\nThe registration fee covers working lunch\, accommodation\, and local transport. \nInvited speakers (foreign) will be awarded economy-class air tickets subject to available funds. \n
